I have a 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle. It's a convertible and I love it! I am learning how to drive the manual transmission and having a bit of trouble. I have heard that Beetles had an auto stick transmission in the late 60's to early 70's. Is it possible to put one of these auto stick transmissions into this Beetle? How much work is involved in something like this?.
